The Christmas tree sits in the center of a little park not far from my house.
At first I thought it was a joke. I've lived in northern climes all my life and can't imagine Santa in shorts. Guess I'd be the only snowbird headed north for the winter.
I want to wish you and your family a great holiday season together. It has been really nice getting to know you on the blogosphere! (and thank you for the hat!)
That's surreal (to me, who originally came from the wintry Midwest) and cheerful (to me, who is now in the soaking wet Pacific Northwest).
ReplyDeleteLovely picture! Got more? :)
I love the decorated tree. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture...Is that from your front yard?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you guys like the photo! The Christmas tree sits in the center of a little park not far from my house.

Braggart. We had forty mile an hour winds yesterday.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I'm just jealous.

Stephen,
ReplyDeleteI love Florida, but my favorite kind of vacation takes me to the mountains.
Travis,
Braggart. You're onto me!
Church Lady,
Thank you! I hope we don't have helmet heads after we take off our hats.
That is a beautiful photo. I can't stop staring at it!! Christmas in Florida looks very different from Christmas in Canada. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Since I lived up north most of my life, I find it ironic to see Christmas trees in the vicinity of palm trees.
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful trees, but I love the Christmas tree the best. I must say, you're quite the photographer. Nice work, Danette!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stella!
ReplyDeleteI like the Shadow.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anonymous! It was the only was to portray the height while still getting a close-up view of the tree.
ReplyDeleteVery nice site! I love the photos. Christmas in Florida...it's so different. I suspect that the photo is from your home? Near it?
