You know, as long as that FEEDING sign is up there, I don't think the owners of said property will ever worry about someone swimming there. *shudder!* But also: awesome post.
It is sad to think that times have come to this...that we, the public, have to be told not to swim with the crocs...
It's like the label on the blow dryers that say don't blow dry your hair in water...duh! I want to know who swam with the crocs and who blow dried their hair in the shower that led to these types of signs/labels...lol
I once worked in a school with the sign 'NO SPITTING' prominently displayed. The offenders didn't take a blind bit of notice of it, but that sign did alert us non-spitters to watch where we stepped.
You do realize that you're slowly but surely posting the contents for a really fun coffee table book....
ReplyDeleteThank you, Church Lady. Thank you for the compliment.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!

ReplyDeleteWell, of course I wouldn't want to feed them, but you mean to tell me I can't even disturb them? What is that, a PETA thing?

i love it! why would someone disturb an alligator?
ReplyDeleteCourtney, Lilfix, Linda and decaf,
ReplyDeleteI know! The first sign implicitly states, "Hey, there are alligators swimming in here." You'd think that would make the second sign redundant!

ReplyDeleteHaha, that's funny Mary!
